Child Care Career and Professional Development Fund

The Child Care Career and Professional Development Fund (CCPDF) scholarship is given to credentialed providers based upon an application and approval by the Maryland State Department of Education.  Funds for the CCCPDF fund come from the Federal Workforce fund.  The scholarship pays for tuition, books, and fees for participants in the AAS or AAT degrees in Early Child Development and Education.  There is a work service agreement that the provider will continue to work in child care while earning the degree and will work after graduation for two years in child care for the AAS or AAT Associate degree earned.  A GPA of 2.5 must be maintained to remain in the program.  For more information contact Lesley Fallon at lfallon@chesapeake.edu or Donna Berger (dberger@chesapeake.edu).
